What is the Workshop about?

In small groups we will learn about the Blockchain technology and work together small introductory tasks. We will look into the basics of Smart Contract and DApp development by using the Ethereum stack. This is done with the help of the free science blockchain infrastructure of the bloxberg project. Mentors, who will be available as contact persons for various problems, will guide the participants through the supporting program throughout the day.

It doesn’t matter if you are student, an experienced software developer, or a scientist with a curiosity for open science use cases, everyone is welcome and we want to connect people and ideas.

You are interested and want to participate?

Information about the supporters:

The Blockchain Research Lab is part of the Institute for Internet Security if(is) at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences. The international and interdisciplinary research team has a diverse skill set to deliver high quality research and enable industry partners to use blockchain in a secure and contemporary manner. At the same time, we want to unlock the capabilities of the blockchain technology to the local region and provide access to different blockchain networks to interested partners. In this way, we are also member of the bloxberg consortium and operate a bloxberg node to allow a fast and secure access to this open science infrastructure for the emscherlippe region.
